  1. Thanks. I did build the headers and just used some glue tip cone things (not sure what they are called) that I found in the model row at hobby lobby.
  2. Decided to try and finish this one up. Here is where I'm at.
  3. Will be waiting to see what you come up with. Here is one I did a while ago.

Thanks everyone for the great comments!
  5. Finally got this one off the bench.
  6. You could make a rat rod box van.
  7. Thanks. I machined the bottles from aluminum and the gauges are made from round evergreen rod.
  8. The lindberg little red wagon has steelies too. I used them on my RRunner.
  9. I can't help with the wheels but I could make you a set of dog dishes from aluminum. Here they are on my 71 cuda.

Now that my welding truck is done I can get back to this one. Using the lowered suspension with tires from the 32 five window and parts box steelies. Machined the pulleys, breather and dog dish caps. Engine is wires and plumbed. Here is where I'm at.
  16. All done. Thought it needed a little something else so I made a pancake(shield) and a mud board.
  17. Well, I finished it last night. It's at a show right now but will have pics under glass later.
  18. Got the side and window trim painted as well as the back of the cab rhino lined. Also painted the wheels black. When I was masking the trim I noticed a chunk of paint gone behind the front wheel. I guess it's back to the booth for repairs.
  19. Thanks. I will have to check into that.
  20. Thanks Richard. No offense taken. I actually did use decal paper. I don't have a photo shop program...just shrank em down on the "paint" program that came on the computer. I also just use testors decal paper...is there anything better? I'm kinda new to making decals. As far as clearing over them, that's not how the real thing is so that's why I didn't. If anyone has a better way to make decals I really would like to learn.
  21. Can't wait to see this one. I've thought about building it too but probably will never get to it.
  22. Couldn't help doin a couple mockup shots. Do you guys think it would look better with black wheels?
  23. Got the paint and clear laid down.
  24. Welder done and gave the truck a little bit of a body lift to help with rear tire clearance.
  25. Got the decals made for the welder. A shot with temporary paper copies and the cab in primer.
