  1. With the New 71 Ford on its way, I thought I'd post my mid 70's Ford Stake truck I am working on. started with AMT Star Truck, removed extra body molding, wheels from Monogram Ford F350 Duallie, tires from Danny at Scenes Unlimited. Stake body from old AMT early 60's pick up. scratch built bed. more as I finish it up. Paint is Rustoleum Odds & Ends light blue.

  3. Well it shouldn't be the same as the Twister Vega, at least not the body. The Larson Vega was a 74 -75 while the Twister Vega was later 70's. the rest of the kit is the same. I would hope they would use the right body
  4. I echo everyone's comments. Got my order today and the parts are better than the photos. simply incredible pieces. I cant wait to use them.
  5. A+++ 4 star rating. top notch
  6. how much? how do I order?
  7. Does anybody know who makes the attached decal sheet? I'd like to get one.
  8. Danny's parts are as good as plastic parts. He does incredible work, provides great service, and is super nice. I look forward to seeing him at the NNL East in a month.
  9. http://www.scenesunltd.com/index.html Scenes unlimited casts the exact Monogram/Revell tach. they are easily as good as the kit piece
  10. here is the one I am working on "backdating" it to a 75, sort of at a standstill as I would like to find a bench seat interior for it, but so far no luck.. I am thinking butterscotch for the paint, not totally correct, but I am sure it will look good. I smoothed the body and bed down
  11. I could also see Slixx doing some 1/16th scale Charger decals to give builders some alternatives if a hawaiian charger isn't what you have in mind.
  12. There was a rumor last year that Revell was going to do a collaboration with Model kings and re issue the Tom McEwen Moongoose Duster. I guess that fell through. Personally would have rather had the Duster, but not complaining.
  13. Got a set of the Goodyear Eagle GT tires and all I can say is WOW! great stuff and super service. Cant wait to get paint on them. Highly recommend. Now I can finally do a Grand National with correct tires. Thank you Joseph!
  14. I couldnt agree more. His attention to detail is flawless. He did a pro stock tach for me and you can read the numerals on the face! Plus as said, he is a super nice guy! truly great stuff!
  15. Got some new parts from Danny today at Scenes Unlimited and am blow away. The quality and workmanship is top notch. better than plastic. I wanted a mystery motor air cleaner for my 63 Impala for the longest time and now I got it. as good as the original piece. and his Chevy utility wheels are beautiful. Give him a try, you wont be disappointed. http://www.scenesunltd.com/index.html
  16. Message today that Slixx was going out of business. What a bummer. Hopefully there won't be a trickle down effect to this project and we'll still get the McEwen funny...
  17. Did you have that on display at the NNL East? there was an awesome looking large scale logger on display, what great workmanship!
