  3. I've been searchin for somethin like this. Thanks!
  4. Thats nice. Black is a hard color to get right and you got it right the first time.
  5. Where can I get india ink and if I can't get any what else can I use?
  6. I was wondering how the kit worked. I guess I know now.
  7. I am building a junker right now and I need to pit the chrome pieces.
  8. After seeing how badly detailed this General Lee kit is I decided to do something different. It will be my first junker and the first time I have opened doors. I will post more progress. I will be using the wheels from a 1969 Shelby GT-500.
  9. I know I shoud use BMF but I am on a tight budget.
  10. I did it. Not as precise as I would like but I did it. I will look into getting a pin vise though.
  11. Thanks. I don't have a pin vise but I have a drill press and a vise
  12. I need to drill a hole in sprue just a bit bigger than a paperclip and it needs to be pretty long.
  13. I was cutting the last door out of my 69 Dodge Charger ang my x-acto slipped an it came out of the bottom of the car and I need to fix it but it will be a junker anyway.
  14. Nice Camaro. We have a 1970 Camaro in storage and a 1966 Mustang and 1979 Hurst Olds in our shop.
  15. Thanks. My camera is old (from about 2005) and is only 2.1 megapixles. My foil work did not turn out exactly how I wanted but I will try heavy duty aluminum foil next time. My othe pictures were to large to put on here though. I'm down here in Magnolia.
  16. I just finished my Boss 429. The color is a light red enamel base over Testors transparent candy apple red. I lifted the rear end twice as much and used drag slicks for the back. It has a tunnel ram. This was my first time wiring a distributor (not a good job) and my first time for doing chrome trim (aluminum foil and spray glue).
  17. Mask at the edge of the black then mask at he edge of your bleed through and spray some more white paint. But make sure the white does not bleed under to the black.
