  1. Sweeeeeet! Those are gorgeous Nick!
  2. Yes, bottle green '95 issue. It had lots of flash from being re-issued so many times over the years. I remember the original version was more of a yellow-green metallic (close match to One Coat laquer Lime Ice), and the Skipper's Critter version was metallic ruby red. There may have been more. Can't remember off hand. I didn't even know they made a detail set for these. Wish I knew that before I finished. I better go look at MCG.
  3. Very nice! Great color choice and awesome job on the vinyl roof. So far, I've got a resin flat hood for one of these, but still haven't scored the kit or promo to do my build yet.
  4. Very cool. Great job on the engine comp. But you forgot to BMF your wheel lip moldings.
  5. I like the Lime Ice with the silver. Looks awesome.
  6. Whoa, now that's awesome! I actually like those wheels on it. Looks good!
  7. Thanks guys! Yes it is a finicky kit. @Jim, Possibly for the Mags show in Tampa. I still have to start building the '50 Olds for our club build. Waiting on my resin to come in.
  8. Looks nice, great paint and interior. Gotta find your BMF though.
  9. Looks fantastic! I love the green!
  10. Took a break from all the BMF and stock stuff and did this Revell '51 Ford Thames with injected Olds engine. All out of the box except the front rims are parts box and the engine has a Fatkidd dist/wires, and a fuel line. Paint is Colors by Boyd Bright Green Pearl. No decals for the sides yet, because they will be my custom made "garage" name decals.
  11. Awesome! Love the Charger. What color did you use on it?
  12. That's cool! Chrysler could have sold these. I like the squared quarter window. Sort of reminiscent of 80's Mopars.
  13. Lot's of work went into this build. I thought the fender was done purposely. Looks like the guy got a few dings and decided to do some body work. I think it's a really nice touch!
  14. Cool...........I have a police car kit, now I have another set of these!
  15. Another beauty! You may have wanted the GTX, but I'd be happy with a Satellite any day!
  16. ........Great interior!
  17. Wow, great job, looks awesome!
  18. I've seen these as you posted, but great to see them all together! Beautiful builds! Perhaps you should master a 4 door sedan body and cast it. I'd love to build one too!
  19. That's gorgeous! I may be using this body, but I was wondering........you said you had to re-shape the rear window and decklid? Was it not correct? Love your color choice as well.
  20. Pretty wild! I didn't even know they ever put 4 bangers in these things. Couldn't have been very many of them. I'm doing mine with a straight six. I'm happy they offered this kit with all the non-SS parts. Yours looks great!
  21. Good to see this positive review. I think I'm going to get some of their straight axle front ends. I like that 4-door Holden they offer too. Take some time to check out their gallery of builtups, some beautiful stuff!
  22. I wanted to do the same thing. I did it with my Hornet. However, I can be of no help because I have no idea what kit the dog dishes came out of. I had them in my parts box. I used regular steel wheels, and blackwashed the line in the caps. They are a bit "flatter" than the AMC caps and they don't say American Motors on them. But they are convincing, due to the black accent line.
  23. Very nice. I like the old Keystones (correct me if I'm wrong on those) and the skinny whites. Gives it a great sixties vibe.
  24. Very nice restoration. Especially like the addition of the proper quarter windows. Looks great!
  25. I'd say sell off the resin body and grab one of these one the 'bay. I chased one of these in this color for quite a while, but lucked out on this one. Got it for under 40 bucks. I think it was because the seller took really bad pics of it and some folks were probably scared that it may have been in bad shape. It needed attention, but it was far better than I had expected. I'm with you on the Sportabout wagon. Would love to have a full detail kit of one of those.
