  2. Thank you guys.
  3. Ya, what the heck is that or should I say what WAS that ? : )
  4. Color me impressed ! That looks killer.
  5. Good color choice. I like where this is headed.
  6. Size wise they are pretty close.
  7. Since I just finished my Cobra diorama I needed another project to keep me out of trouble. This is what I came up with. Going to build the Tweedy Pie pretty much stock but want to try and modify the Bantam body from the Slingster to fit. I will have to do some body work to the body but I think I can make it work. Need to fill in the wheel wells with plastic and then maybe open up new ones further back.
  8. Thanks Ken. I am fairly happy with the way something came out for a change. : )
  9. Got this little diorama all finished up. I learned one thing, I don't think I will any time soon or ever build another 1/43 kit. This is a very nice little Cobra with some nice pe parts but tough on these old eyes. This dio is meant to depict a guy working on a kit Cobra in his home garage. As mentioned before the wood I used to make the walls is out of scale but I think still better than the stick on stuff. Also I feel I maybe made it a little to crowded but wanted to squeeze some detail in to it. Comments good or bad are always welcome. Thanks for looking.
  10. How about a couple of pics Dale ?
  11. It's a Cobra ! What's not to like ? : )
  12. I have a bunch but don't build one too often.
  13. Love the color choices. Looks like a very neat 2 tone paint job.
  14. Nice little Beemer .
  15. This car is done. Since it is part of a diorama you can see it in that section later today if interested.
  16. Very nice job !
  17. Another Ira slice and dice. Life is good.
  18. Thanks for the great photo's but where are all the Cobra's ? : )
  19. Thanks Dave.
  20. That is one crazy car ! : ) Wheels and tires are very cool.
  21. Thanks Carl. Pretty easy kit for one and since I am retired I can spend a fair amount of time building if I feel the urge.
  22. I thought the 67 one was pretty bad. I remember my dads car was on the side of the house and it drifted so bad you could just see a couple inches of the antenna . I spent a couple hours digging that car out. Started right up.
  23. My dad used to say " Too soon old, too late smart. " I am 62 but sometimes I feel 61 .
