Been working on the engine and chassis. The parts need a fair amount of clean up but thats to be expected with a kit this old. I will for sure need to make the chassis wheel base longer.

I just was informed that a bottle of Viva La Juicy perfume I bought as one of the gifts I gave my daughter for Christmas is a fake. I bought it off ebay from a seller who has perfect feedback so I am a bit surprised. Contacted them and opened a case with ebay but because I purchased it over 30 days ago ( i do my shopping early ) it is not covered under their protection plan. : ( I guess I will be off to Macys this weekend to drop 90 bucks for the 3.5 oz bottle. I guess maybe the 50 dollar price I paid should have been a warning. I really thought with the 100% feedback I was safe. Maybe they will refund me. Maybe pigs will learn to fly. Buyer beware.

Talk about re-releases. Take the AMT Cobra kit for example. I have 9 different versions (box art) of that car but the last version offererd aluminum velocity stacks and beautiful pad printed tires. It also is in a retro box that mimics one issue from years ago. Pretty cool. I bought 3 of these.

Hey guys. This will be my next wip. Bought the Chevy kit for the body only. Will use the chassis and engine and bits from one of the dragsters in the double dragster kit. Should be fun.

I remember the blizzard of 67 very well. I lived in Chicago at the time ( actually Oak Lawn ) and we had a snow drift on the side of the house in the driveway which completely covered my dads 62 Ford. All you could see was the top of the radio antenna. Took some time to uncover but the thing fired right up.
