  1. Another knockout Carl. Very clean and well done. Another smooth paint job.
  2. I agree with everyone else, nice.
  3. Thanks gents !
  4. This build just keeps getting better and better.
  5. Beautiful ! I love it. You do have some mad skills my friend.
  6. Very cool to see these old builds.
  7. Thanks for the comments guys.
  8. Next up will be this Jimmy Flintstone resin Zoomerang kit. Sold under the "Model Master" name. Designed by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. Kit is 1/25 scale. Simplified kit. Resin, die cast, pe parts. Rubber rear tires. Resin looks pretty good, just the normal clean up you would expect. When new I think these kits sold for about 50 bucks. Found it on ebay for 15 and could not pass it up.
  9. This kit was the Lindberg 37 Ford which is the same as the Testors "Smoothster " kit. Not a bad kit really. I made a couple of modifications just trying something different. Added plastic strips at the rear wheel wells and added trim to all the fenders. Also filled the tail lights and drilled out the rear of the body for recessed tail lights. Thanks for looking and as always comments both good and bad are welcome.
  10. This build is finished. Photos in "Under Glass" soon if interested.
  11. Shaping up great !
  12. Cool. Just putting the finishing touches on one of those myself.
  13. Very nice build.
  14. I got my copy too. It's is also in nice shape. : ) Cool Talladega on the cover.
  15. Thanks guys.
  16. I don't disagree with you at all. I just like to try different things. Sometimes they work out, sometimes not. Many times something looks better in my mind then in the finished product. Ya don't know till ya try sometimes. I was going to fully skirt the front and rear wheel wells but changed my mind.
  17. Making progress on this one. It's kind of an experiment that I am not sure yet if it worked. I did some mods such as the body at the rear wheel wells and added trim to all fenders which were covered with BMF. I filled the tail lights and drilled new holes for them. They are recessed in the body. Still needs to be finished and touch ups are still required. Thanks for looking and comments pro or con are welcome.
  18. I built the same car and had the same problem. My solutuion ? I bought a aquarium. I got it at Petco when they had their dollar a gallon sale. It's a 10 gallon so I paid 10 bucks for it. Turned it upside down on the car. Easy peasy and keeps all the dust out.
  19. Looks great !
  20. I kind of see a little early Corvette in that car. In any case I love the look of that car and wish you well with your project. Looks to be a tough one. I hope you can pull it off because I for one would love to see it.
