I actually miss the wing or vent windows. Cars do look better without them however.

Here's a build up of the Cobra I did when the kits first came out.

Looks good from what I can remember of the real car.

I sometimes use a small slice of tape and tape them down where I want them and then use Krystal Klear to fix them into place. Remove tape ( I use the blue stuff ) carefully.

Nice Pinto. I almost hate to admit it but mt first brand new car was a Pinto. That was back in 1972. I bought a brand new custom painted panel Pinto in 1978. They were actually pretty good and reliable cars.

Is that the kit body ?I built this kit twice and the body is chopped. Different kit ?

Yes it is a full detail kit and so far it looks pretty darn nice.

It is just a working coat of primer. More body work needed and there will be a wet sanding and a lighter primer prior to the color coats.

Next build will be the Lindberg 37 Ford kit in the stupid box that opens on the ends. This is the same kit as the Testors Smoothster. Have started some modifications to the body. I have added trim to the fenders which will be foiled after the paint job. Also adding some strips on the rear fenders sort of like open skirts. Just trying something different. Car will be yellow or blue most likely.

The year, 1999. What ? A die cast Cobra. Which one I don't remember. With the discovery of ebay my Cobra collection grew and grew. While my wallet shrank and shrank. : )
