  1. Good job from saving it from the deathly grips of that trash bag!
  2. Good luck and can't wait to see ya start on it!
  3. Clear coat would help preserve the decals. If you're a rivet counter and want a scale downed exact replica, I wouldn't. Believe it or not, normal house lights will eventually fade the decals! I had a model with decals that faded over a year! Its up to you.
  4. Pretty darn cool! I think one of the bigger names like Parnelli Jones or somebody has a mid-late 60's Buick or Oldsmobile one year.
  5. Is this 1:87 or HO? Pretty cool so far!
  6. All I got to say!
  7. Awesome job on that car!
  8. Krimson Krusher was a cool truck back in the day. The driver said having 2 skinny tires helped control the bounce from jumps when it landed.
  9. Thats awesome! Can't wait to see it.
  10. ?????? Wierd car, unique though.
  11. Nice job on that Bronco and welcome to the forum! Can't wait to see that Dakota finishedup!
  12. Kits seem to be dissapearing more and more; As a avid model railroader, in the past 5 years, everything is becoming Ready-To-Run. Before ya know it, kits will almost be assembled and everything pre-painted!

    Rat Finks

Anybody here ever draw anything thats been Rat Fink'd? Lets seem 'em if ya got any!
  14. What nice detailing of the engine! I've never built or had a kit with a road draft tube or any dipsticks!
  15. It seems outlandish, but, I wanna take AMT's LWB day cab Peterbilt 359 and turn it into a bobber style hotrod. Using the radiator and cab and frame as a base. Anyways, is there anybody who has ever seen or heard of a "souped-up" diesel engine found in these beast? I'm thinking turbos if the 359 had them
  16. Thanks Rob. Just gotta find the 359 and the spotlight! I guess the truck was black or a dark dark blue.
  17. Not a Super Duty. Still a cool Ford. May be a F-250 or up. The term "Super Duty F-Series" didn't come until the redesign in '97. That put more diesels on the road. Back then, nothing but big block gasoline engines!
  18. Has anybody have any idea of what truck was used in Joy Ride? Saw it the other night. Creepy movie! I can't tell if a Peterbilt, Freightliner or a Kenworth was used.
  19. Looks like one of the Macks used in Maximum Overdrive!
  20. A real bike. What is that anyways Harry?
