At firsr, I had no idea what that car was! Nice details like that body/tub and the trashed TV!

No matter whatcha ya do, somebody is gonna notice a number ain't matching. I knew a guy who tried to clone a Cutlass into a 442. It was obvious! -
I always thought the old school pull knob grille was cool. Its when a customizer took old "pull style" knobs commonly seen on drawers and cabinet doors were added to a grille. How could I replicate this on a 1:24/25th model?

Awesome custom! I swore it looked like a Mercury!

I can;t remember. Auto store spray paint is all I remember. I may strip it down.

I just paint my Fiat Altered body and when I sprayed the paint from a rattle can, it started running down the side and "rippled". Can I sand that down so I won't have to strip the paint down again?

I've used Coca-Cola, simple green and brake fluid. all do good. Downside to brake fluid is that it'll soften plastic too much if left in too long!

Thats an awesome traditional truck! Is that an Ardun head'd flat head and a Franklin QuickChange!? -
Nice 5 window! What's the dash out of? Has a awesome art deco look!

Thats an awesome custom or a "what if" car there! I guess its name is PT Beetcoupe?

OK. Just gotta find a company that does it locally. I know that equipment ain't cheap! I thought over the mold. Seam lines would be a issue.

I saw the movie. Wasn't impressed about it. Unique Dodge though.

I had a wild idea of making a bubble top custom on a '57 Bel Air. Anyways, how could I scratchbuild a bubble top? I'm wondering if a vac-u-form or a custom mold would be better.

I plan on building a real wicked custom and using billet grilles. Anways, what can I use? I'm thinking or brass wire or something or styrene rods. This will be in 1:24/25. Also, any companies out there do a nickel plating anymore? I prefer it over chrome plating.

Leaf springs usually get leaves taken away or have the arch taken out of the equation when made new. The old school guys just heated them up, used lowering blocks and used springs from something else. Coil springs just don't have as many coils. This is easily modeled, just splice out a coil or 2. Stewart's trick oughta work. I have had though of shaving the leaf springs down or scratchbuild 'em.

Stop painting from cracking

Make sure the can is well shook up. I have had this happen a time or two. If the areosol and paint don't mix well, it paints funny. Once ya stripped the body down, clean it in hot water and soap. Prime it, wait for it to dry, and scrub again. The plastics do release a little oil. Not sure if this helps. -
Wanna go crazy? Try Coca-Cola or brake fluid. Seems the AMT kits has to be worse for chrome removal. I've had some luck with simple green too! Just brake fluid will make the plastic too soft if left in it too long. Just some patience and a serious scrubber will do.

What is this?

That coupe has to be nasty fast! What country does the beauty reign from? Those webers are odd indeed. And, the 4 tail pipes! -

I take it this a International truck? -
How could a fully custom bubble top be made mainly from the scratch? I've figured a custom mold or vacu-form it. Any ideas?
-
So... in other words, the car was a clone that never got completed?

I wanna build a wicked custom, just gotta find the right engine! I want something with lots of flashy chrome and is V8 of the late 50's vintage appeal. Maybe a 3 duece set up or something non-supercharged.
