I just placed an order with Ed yesterday. He still has lots of parts in stock. He's one of the best, if he casts something you're looking for give him a try! You won't be disappointed.

Nice work! That grill treatment is so much cleaner than stock. You should be very proud!

I've had unused cans of Testors lacquers weep around the bottom seal of the can. I decant them to save the paint when it happens.

I have most of my small parts organized here:
I have plastic shoe boxes and old kit boxes with old builts, bodies etc...
I keep most of my aftermarket parts in the rafters of one of my basement hobby rooms:

I've had that same airbrush for years, you'll like it. Those sanding needles will get you into curved areas and next to trim like nothing else. I love them.

Nice Mustang! You made improvements that enhance the build. '60's Super Stockers are some of my favorites!

I've had Donn's painting DVD since last Friday but I've only had a chance to watch it once. I want to watch the paint application a couple of more times before I try it. I do have two bodies prepped to a nice shiny plastic with my polishing kit. I hope to get them both painted by Sunday. Thanks again Donn!

I just picked up the R&D kit this week marked down to $25 from $70. I'd only seen that kit once before and it was at least a decade ago. Al's Hobbies in Elmhurst IL. is closing out their aftermarket items. I also got several sets of Herb Deeks Halibrands and Supremes for $2 a set. The Flintstone body is nice, only $10.

I just got Donn's dvd in the mail! I may have to wait until tomorrow to view it, today being my 39th wedding anniversary.

They're all beauties Doc! Is that Testors Model Master clear?

i just ordered Donn's video. You guys have me very curious!

Use the Fotki link in my post above. If you see something you want e-mail him. He'll get back to you with total cost to ship you your parts.

Here's Ed's FOTKI: http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/member_dealer_directory/drag-city-casting-/ Once again, he is one of the best casters out there and always a pleasure to deal with!

Here's Ed's e-mail: lowcab36@epix.net He's a great guy with great products!

I don't have a lot of their products but I'd recommend the sanding needles. They're great for getting those pesky mold lines that run to, from or close to trim. A very useful product!

Actually, many gassers ran modified or even stock front independent suspensions. The rules in the sixties also mandated a level stance at rest making the nose bleed front ends illegal for NHRA gasser classes. Having said that, these are model cars, build it the way you want it! I love straight axles and nose bleed front ends on gasser style cars.

Slixx still has 2 Olds funny car decal sheets listed including the Pisano Bros. car Dale Pulde drove. http://www.ecsvr.com/slx/shopdisplayproducts.asp?page=9

When I saw this topic I thought you were announcing a congressional election campaign!

Here's the link. http://www.alteredstatesmodels.com/ I don't see it on the web sight but I know he does some parts that aren't listed,

Quit bothering Lyle! I want one of those '41 coupe bodies.

The AMT '49 Merc has a 413 Chrysler engine. The Revell '49 Merc has a very nice early Cadillac engine.

Nice job and great paint. That's one of my all time favorite funnies. I saw it run several times, it was a killer car when Foster was driving it. thanks for posting yor pictures!
