Are you looking at the newer printers to try to get better quality, or a bigger print bed? The reason I ask is because if you're wanting better print quality, just make your layer height smaller. I printed these 1/25 scale tires that I modeled from my real car and then printed them at a .01 mm layer height. Granted, your prints don't need to print nearly that detailed because of the scale, but you get the idea.

What resin are you using to print with? I've started using the Anycubic ABS like resin Pro 2 and it's much stronger than other resins I've worked with.

I like the idea of the low lights on the new design. What do you think about putting them on the other side of the car as well? That way if you ever take it to a show or have any kind of 360 degree visibility, it will be even all the way around. The best part about having the lighting inside of the plexiglass is that when the room around it is dark, then you won't see as much of a reflection.

Very well done. An excellent example for people that try to say that you need top level equipment to get great images. Knowing how to use the equipment is almost always more important than the equipment itself.

Just like everything else you build, this one is fantastic Martin. I've been following your work on IG for quite a while now (I'm KWSimages on there), and you are the reason I bought a Mars3. I've finally had a chance to start learning Fusion360, and have been able to replicate the '03 Cobra wheels and tires that are on my '91 Mustang, so I can actually build a scale version. I've learned a LOT just by looking through your posts and responses, and I very much look forward to learning more in the future. Next up for me is taking the time to replicate the twin turbo kit I built for my 1:1 car. ? Keep up the good work!
