  1. 5 Years is totally worth the end result! 1:1 looking.
  2. Love the gore! "Gripping the wheel, his knuckles went white with desire ..."
  3. Painting and final construction ... still haven't got around to weathering Flame thrower! From Zombie's angle ... if the spikes don't get you the stripes will! Cockpit with zombie containment area in the rear ... it's going to be a mess back there.
  4. First stage of Stealthy Spike's paint job is complete. Here're some shots of all the pieces together more or less. Still got lots of weathering to do to tone down the colors
  5. BTW Dr Cranky. Did I miss where you posted the address that we mail the models too? Could you please post that again or remind us where it's posted.
  6. Looks really scale. Good job.
  7. Doc, that is just great. Just when I think I have MUST have seen all of your stuff ...
  8. So filthy! ... but so beautiful. Love the pitting.
  9. Scale-Master would you mind telling us how you did the awesome flames. Surely those aren't decals? The edges look so clean ...
  10. Randall that gun is so awesome! If I get the time I'm going to make one just like it and you will just have to say to your self "Well ... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
  11. I just love the juxtaposing symmetries and asymmetries ... and the GUN. YEAH!
  12. Hey, Jim Thanks. I rolled out milliput into thin, < 1mm, worms (thinner the better but with milliput you get a lot of time to experiment). Track them along the joint and press them down until they hold and then take a toothpick with one point chopped off and press it into putty to make the pattern alternating between blunt and pointy depending on what makes it look right. It helps to keep the toothpick wet so that it doesn't stick to the millliput and pull it off the model. Any epoxy putty with a decent working time would work just as well I reckon.
  13. Stealthy spike gets it's hatches. Had a lot of fun on the hinges. Added a bullet proof windscreen Fun part starts tomorrow ... paint!
  14. That is truly awesome love the pitted effect on the edges of the plow!
  15. http://militarymodels.co.nz/2010/05/11/kit-review-tamiya-u-s-infantry-weapons-set/ these aren't bad. 50 cal, scale wise, in 1:24 is a 34 cal which is close enough to a 30 cal. Hey and if you chop the handle off the big gun it LOOKS like the smaller one :-). In the fantasy world that is the TZH ... er I think it's fantasy anyway. Some of the other weapons in that set look about right too. Also check out World Peacekeepers toys.
  16. Very cool! Very expensive :-( lets hope they get popular ... and cheap. Thanks for the heads up.
  17. The tank kits come with multiple weapon options. I had leftovers from a 40k tank I built and I can't believe they found their way into the trash. I'm kicking myself.
  18. ... and if you use all those parts you will need it! :-)
