  1. Good choice! They build into really awesome models from what I have seen. I like the uh ... junk in the trunk, that really works. Most people skimp on the dust and the grime IMHO; Max would not be pleased.
  2. Stealthy Spike Progress It's been slow going, what with life and the PE parts on that Flak 38 ... but here's another update. The Stealthy crew do lab work occasionally and need specimens. Captured zombies are kept in the back of the hummer with suitable security in place. Too bad those elegant and super useful cup holders are never going to be put to proper use. Flame throwers on the hood ensure that spike or overly agile zombies that avoid the spikes (not shown) see their final seconds in flames. Crew can exit the vehicle through the roof hatch and mount the Zombie Death Machine (guns not installed) All build pics at: http://photobucket.c..._stealthy_spike
  3. Ken your stuff is just outrageous. Love them every time I see them.
  4. It's great to see a unique car like this. Good choice of color and clean detailing with the wiring. That's very inspirational. I'm new to car modeling but I Fujimi is sticking out for me with these types of cars, I just love them, wedgier the better!
  5. That is pure genius, seriously ... well balanced but a little over the top at the same time.
  6. Jerred ... loving it man; looks super mean. You got respect the work on those saw teeth.
  7. I've been looking for armaments (not having much in my spare parts box) and I dug these up for anyone who is keen. Lets just say the TZH caravan guys have the same supplier out in the desert somewhere ... http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?search=Y&q_brand=&q_category=&q_scale=&q_word=minigun&q_show_instock_only=N
  8. Ah well done. I think I'll switch to a knife for long straight cuts. Grill is looking good BTW. I'm new to the whole scratch building thing (###### you Doctor Cranky!) I'll add some bits to an order I got growing for some Plastruct stuff ... reckon that square tube comes in handy for a lot of things. Thanks for taking the time to explain it and take pics.
  9. Neat cuts. What do you use to cut your styrene? Is the front bumper 3 sheets or one thick sheet?
  10. Good camo. I just love that heavy metalwork with the plates and the bolts. The window hatches are ... uhm ... to DIE for!
  11. Awesome job on the windows, good lines.
  12. Stealthy Spike Get Her Spikes The parts: Styrene sheet, sprue and arms from two toy diggers Cool thing is the arms are movable enabling truly wicked zombie mutilation in many modes: Cowcatcher and Crusher! (to name only two) Also the TZH Stealthy Spike crew find some awesome roof mountable weaponry that fell through a time warp ... Nothing say says Die Zombies better than a good old Flak 38 (or parts of it anyway ... the business parts) Cheers Justin
  13. Totally LOVE the blood spattering ... brilliant.
  14. Doc, am I missing something? The pics are jpegs posted on PhotoBucket e.g. http://i999.photobucket.com/albums/af113/kimbogum/DSC_0137.jpg ... should I be putting them on Fotki?
  15. Ok picked up a Monster Jam. Here's a comparison between the 1/25 scale low profiles that came with my hummer model and the monster jam wheels which are on some versions are conveniently detachable (look for Bad New Travels Fast 27/80)
  16. I'm thinking the giant wheels when down to 1/64th on a 1/25 normal car would be about right. @otherunicorn was that what you're suggesting?
  17. Here's the beginnings of Stealthy Spike! I'm going for a rusty three tone camo. Engine will be a scratch built futuristic power plant i.e. doesn't run on gas (model doesn't come with an engine anyway ... forced fun). Features spiky crushing arms (pirated from orange toy digger) I don't know if those low profile tires will work on the Highway to Hell given the poor condition of the road :-). Anyone got tips on where I can get a set of wheel with knobby tires on line?
