I will make sure to use actual body shop prep methods on my Atlanta show build I am going to treat this build as if I am building a 1:1 car thank you all for your wonderful advice I am going to sand everything starting with 320 400 600 800 1000 1500 2000 before I spray the first coat of primer on all of the parts
  4. I also use the 2 in 1 Primer in a spray can it is by far the best primer I've used. I have also used the Gray Primer Sealer as well the Primer Sealer is my go to primer most of the time
  5. I am using PPG automotive paint on my models. What is the best way to get a finish paint job that will win at shows? I will use all the advice I can get from you professional painters and builders.

I am working on both Project 442 and Project Copo the paint for the 442 project is Aztec Gold Metalic Single Stage that I will spray 3 coats of Masterpro Clear Coat over the color for both the 70 Baldwin Chevelle and the Nova is Lemans Blue Metallic and I will be uploading photos of both to my FB page and linking them to here
  13. The paint was got today and my paint guy just up and gave me that paint the color is Aztec Gold Metallic and I also got the color for Project Copo Lemans Blue Metallic B/C

  15. It is a 1969 Olds 442 W-30 just in the detail masters parts alone which I'll be getting today I will spend $20 to $30 on them plus what other models I go get today to stock up on but my main focus is Project 442 plus the paint

I will be embarking on a 1000 hour build I call this project Project 442 it will be the most authentic representation of a actual Olds 442 no detail will be over looked no stone un turned the paint it self will take 3 weeks a lot of detail masters parts will be used 80% of detail masters catolog on this build period specific for this project. It will be a fun project though
  17. I have found the colors for my two tone paint job on a Revell 1968 Hemi Dart http://www.coastairbrush.com/products.asp?cat=756 the two colors I'm going to use is Eclipse Orange and Planet Green of the S2 system

  19. What is the best way to lay out a two tone paint using HOK Shimirin2 FX base coats using line O tape for the two tone line
