Rusted 50 chevy pick up with custom wheels, performance parts on engine and a finished interior (the guy spend all the money and nothing left for paint?) It´s the custom model and do not include bumpers. If any one has a spare set, please contact me. At a recent gathering it was votes one of the top 15 cars from a total of 81 cars. Finished at last, 28 Lincoln Rat Rod. Flat head Lincoln V12 and a lot of other bits and pieces. Texture made using Make it sude paint.

Very clean build! Do you cut the front wheels and tires to make them narrow?

There are a few of Suzukis lowered here in Puerto Rico in the street or the strip. They drop Toyota four cylinder motors or Mazda rotary engines and change the front diferential with a straight axle. Keep the good work!

I used the silver for painting the side trim in weathered cars.

Thanks for your comments. As a matter of fact I won the 6 cylinder special award, beating some nice and shining cars.

Years back I took this model from my brother because he has no interest in building it. It was in my closet collecting dust for a couple of years. At 2 weeks from the model show I decided to build it for the 6 cylinder special class.

Its been a long time since I take a project and finish it. So I opened the dusty box of the MPC Lincoln 28 phaeton and take again the rat rod project. This time I work with the front and rear suspension.

Interestin build up, I will be following it very closely. Keep the good work.

You are so detail oriented. Going good! You can use some Donk wheels on that! :wink: Just kidding. Some Hellas or some kind of Hallibrands will look good.

Thinking about the wheels here are two other choices Front wheels from the AMT 29 roadster and rear wheels from the kit. Normal size wheels and tires. Not using the fenders this size of wheel dont look too bad. What do you think?

That car fenders and original tires are huge. The original tires are taller than those in the picture. Maybe as a fenderless car I can use normal tires.

I buy this kit thinking of building a luxury rod, but throwing the idea going 180 degrees brging building a Rat Rod. The engine is a resin Lincoln V-12 from Richard Wilson.
