  1. very nicely detailed dash. The heater control looks amazing... how'd you do that? just a steady hand?
  2. paint looks awesome on this... too bad about the rear windsheild.
  3. This is crazy! I love the detail in this! how did you do the windsheild? also, great Idea with the fish food. I'll be using that.
  4. This is awesome! I'm currently doing a small diorama like this myself. Thanks for the inspiration.
  5. really cool... Think I would have foiled it thought
  6. Lol I reallllly dig this.
  7. looks great the interior looks really well detailed.
  8. Really cool. the interior is amazing. I've been looking for a tutorial for the flat tires..
  9. Yep that's the engine that came with the kit. it also had a couple options for the air cleaner which included a stock looking one and a hilborn style scoop I'm from oshawa
  10. Liking the color and detail. for some of the thin trim rings and stuff on the dash you can use a metallic silver pencil crayon to get clean detailed effect.
  11. diggin the red on the grill...
  12. Love the wheels, I've always liked silver on anything. Did the kit go together without any issues? I was thinking of picking this one up.
  13. the only issue I had with the bare metal was that the wheel wells didn't really have crisp lines due to my sanding, I tried to watch them as best I could but I should have watched em closer I guess.
  14. Thanks guys, much appreciated.
  15. Here's my attempt at the '70 chevelle baldwin motion chevelle. I tried a lot of stuff with this kit that was new to me. I finally got a sheet of bare metal and did that for the first time, it came out alright I think . I wired the spark plugs and detailed all the chrome parts. The kit went together nicely except for the rear panel piece that sits under the rear bumper. The paint is dupli-color engine red or something. When I sprayed the clear, the clear was not clear... It was dull coat.I kinda dug the flat red so I just ran with it.
  16. Love those old school cragers!
  17. Hey guys, I'm new here, but won't start with the pleasantries... Here's my 34' ford snap kit with an engine from a dragster snap skit (think it was the mad magazine one). So without further adieu... (I think that's how it's spelled) Snap kit built according to instructions. making the cuts.... Rear tires and rims from the same dragster kit and fronts are from some nascar snap kit I had laying around. I cut small notches out for the belt due to the fact that I wanted to maintain the original screw holes for easy assembly. It just so happens that the plastic bit the screw goes into is right at the front of the engine in between the belt. Next step is figuring out the interior. I just kinda eyeballed the entire project. Keep in mind this is more of just a fantasy build, I'm not looking to get into plumbing, and insane amounts of wiring like some guys on this forum are... but any advice would be helpful as I don't think I've ever cut into a model before... Thanks for looking.
