  1. Is this brush painted? looks great! nice detail on the grill..
  2. Dude... this looks awesome! great work, loving that paint scheme.
  3. Not sure if there's a huge difference between the 95' kit and the re-release but I figured the model would be less difficult and look nicer had I glued the doors shut. I'm sure that with a lot of work you could get them to look nice but I really wanted to actually finish a kit instead of doing half of it, getting tired of it and then shelving it like I usually do. Other than that the kit went together well. Again, thanks for all the compliments guys!
  4. Wow that's nice.... might have to do another one this style. Also, thanks for the compliments everyone!
  5. Hey guys, here's something simple I built. Enjoy!
  6. phenomenal work! I gotta ask... what kit is this Camaro from?
  7. Awesome! I know most people will not agree but I really dig the rear spoiler.
  8. Just picked up this kit... any issues? Hope mine comes out as nice as yours!
  9. This is very very very very cool.. Seriously, awesome build man.
  10. Picture frame with the glass and stuff taken out, some dollar store foam board (the curb is made from the foam board as well), cheap acrylic paint, and some fake grass stuff I also found at the dollar store. Sorry it took me so long to answer your question I've been on a model hiatus for awhile now.
  11. LOL @ The busch beer in the background... looks like my bench! Build looks great man!
  12. Dude... I have that same spice rack... also nice model.
  13. Man... every time you post I can't help but let my jaw drop a little. This thing is beyond cool.
  14. I REALLY like this! what's that black bit at the bottom? looks interesting...
  15. makes me want to build again,,
  16. Think this is an excellent build... anything that gets you out of your comfort zone and still ends up looking decent is a huge success in my opinion. Great work!
  17. looks like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH
  18. it's an existing decal from an newer kit... I haven't applied it and it's still on the sheet
  19. Hi guys, I have a new project where I'm looking to show off a rough looking paint job and would like to know if there's a way to make a decal look as if it's cracked paint that was applied to the car a long time ago. Any tips would be extremely helpfull. Thanks!
  20. Thanks Blair, I think the chalk dust might be my answer here.
  21. Hi Blair, Awesome work on this... I'm in the middle of making preparations to do my own diorama and would like to know how you went about weathering the bricks... they look absolutely real and would love to know your technique. Here are some tests that I've tried. I too used a piece of foam board with the paper torn off of one side. I then measured and carved the lines for the bricks and painted them. I used acrylic paint. I was thinking the pattern on the far left but I'm still undecided. Any help would be appreciated thanks!
  22. Yeah I've been looking at your builds and can tell without a doubt you're a pro but the pictures just don't cut it. I find that when I photograph my models on a white backdrop the model looks much nicer. Get a blank piece of poster paper and tape one end to the floor and the other to a wall. THERE YOU HAVE IT! A nice white backdrop for photography!
