  6. Thanks for the welcomes all! The bronco was an ebay find from years back, but I know its a cast from an old "gay toys" bronco
  7. Hi all, my name is Kolben and I was recommended to this site by a friend. Ive been building models since I was a kid, and I do it more for fun than for perfection. I own two real vws at this point (a 68 baja bug and a 96 Jetta GLS) I thought I'd start out by posting a few of my old builds. (Sorry there dirty lol) The bronco is a resin body, with Mount'n goat axles and desert dogs, a 289-4spd combo from a shelby gt350, 84 gmc transfer case, enzo seats and a full cage The 79 is one of my oldest builds, and its mostly box stock except for the lift, desert dogs, and a 427-4spd combo from a fairlane The super bee was done for a 70s street car cbp from another forum, and is mostly stock, with a 440-6 4spd, cragar mags, traction bars, and of course a CB The bug is based on an old IMC gasser kit, painted in factory vw java green, with a dual carb'd engine from a revell street machine bug (as well as the fuchs wheels) a Gunze 56 dash transplant, a 6 point rollcage, factory vw lowbacks, custom shifter, dash mounted tach with shift light, opening hood, doors, and decklid, a roofrack with an old AMT surfboard and a Scale equipment ltd cooler, and a missing headlight that is long lost to my hobby room. Thanks for looking and Glad to be here!
