  3. thanks a lot agnaldo, It's the first time i have built anything close to "street" so i wanted to make it look as brutal as possible. I love it more than i ever thought i would and will definitely build more cars similar to this in the future.
  4. All four look excellent, My personal favourite is the 75. i love the interior and the blue paint job. What basecoat did you use for the tamiya metallic green on the '80 coupe ?
  5. thanks for the comments, much appreciated ! Thanks for the tip Dominik i totally missed the lights, not sure how i managed to forget them !

  8. thanks guys, I did wonder about bringing a more realistic look to the grill, thanks for the tip cobraman, i'll get some black wash next time i go to the model shop and give it a try, Is there anything i need to know about using washes for the grill ?

  10. it looks great, i love the paint job, nice work.
  11. This was made from the Revell Donk kit, Something a little bit different for me, i had never done a street engine before so i kind of went half and half between stock and street on this one. It was a really fun build but i had so many little issues and mistakes with it that i kind of accepted it with a few flaws. The main problem was losing one of the front headlight covers. I will eventually find it and fix it. But right now it is hiding on the floor pretty well. We even got some sunshine in England today so i finally got a chance to try some outdoors photos ! as always i'm looking for constructive criticism to learn from and hopefully improve with the next build.
  12. for me its dermatitus and eczema, i've been out of action for nearly two weeks as my hands are all cut and i have no dexterity when they get bad. I have two builds nearly finished and i'm chomping at the bit to get started on some others !
  13. i love that, the blue looks fantastic and its a really nice clean build.

  16. thanks a lot guys, its appreciated. Martin - thanks for the tip, i'll try to get some decal film this week. Its a real shame that i messed that decal up but i'm viewing everything as part of the learning curve and as they say, you learn more from your mistakes than from your successes. Thanks a lot Brizio.
  17. yeah me too, it would make a nice change getting pulled over by a lambo !
  18. couldn't agree more, i've learned so much since signing up and every question i've asked has been answered. I've got so much better and more serious about building just by watching the guys on here do their thing.
  19. it looks brilliant, i love the gold green combo.
  20. thanks a lot mate, it's a great kit, just take care with the side decals if you do get one, they gave me some problems with splitting and chipping. it's one of the best kits i've made if not the best. I'm actually tempted to do another one replacing all the white decals with silver.
  21. thanks a lot, i'm improving and learning from every build. Hopefully the next one will be another step in the right direction.
  22. they both look great, what colour did you use for the first one ?
