  1. awesome job so far
  2. i dont't mind at all . I still might go with the pegasus wheels haven't really decided yet . i think when i get all the body work done and get it in primer i will make a final decision .
  3. powerplant chosen 5.4l dohc from the 07 gt500 wheels from the gt500 with pegasus sleeves in the rear stock gt500 wheels in the front some hood ideas
  4. nice job so far . only problem i see is thats a chevy engine with pontiac valve covers .
  5. this is true it doesn't fit with the stock chassis . but i'm not using the stock chassis i'm using highly modified sn95 chassis and i don't know if i'm gonna go with a supercharger , turbo or n/a. its to early in this build to decide that . i might even go with a boss 429 . thanks for the heads up though. i will have a update tomorrow including which wheels i am going with
  6. this is my inspiration for this build . it's the pure vision anvil mustang built by steve strope I'm not gonna build a replica of it cause my modeling skills are not there yet. maybe one day, but i love the body on this car . Having seen this car up close it is a awesome piece of engineering .
  7. revell 1969 mustang with the revell saleen convertible chassis and interior . in the early stages . Using a mockup body for now . haven't decided on the power plant i do know it will be a 4.6l or a 5.4l . here are some pics they are pretty crappy .
  8. The main differences are..... Front grills: 66- was black plastic egg crate design. 67- was chrome mesh design. Tail lights: 66- was a rectangular lens with body colored covers over them. 67- was 4 individual strips on each side of the car. Fender emblems: 66- was mounted mid height on the fender. 67- was made into the lower rocker chrome molding. Seats: 66- they had horizontal lines. 67- they had vertical lines. If it has a console: 66- the door was chrome with black slots. 67- was woodgrain.
  9. more progress pics sorry for the crappy camera phone pics its all i have started working on the interior
  10. one of my favorite engines is not because its fast or powerful but its easy to work on and cheap to fix 3.1L MPFI In a 1994 chevy lumina
  11. no problem andy . it's a common misconception cause when you think general motors and turbo you think 3.8l. The 4.3l in the syclones and typhoons where pretty nice but man do they suck to work on .
  12. uh the cyclone had a turbo charged 4.3L not a 3.8L turbo . now for the pulleys the waverider pulleys are the newer s10/blazer style. alternator on passenger side a/c compressor on driver side with a newer style v5 a/c compressor. the older 4.3L in the cyclones, blazers, s10, were reversed alternator on driver side a/c compressor on passenger side with the old style v4 a/c compressor . the switch happened in the late 1995 - early 1996 model year. 91blaze awesome job on the model truck so far. and good luck with the real truck memorial cars are the hardest to work on .
  13. my plan is to build a before and after, but i'm gonna build the after first and then build the other with the left over parts from the two kits i have
