Hello all scale model cars builders. Really guys that every single day I come up with ideas and questions that I hope not to get banned from this forum hahaha. Well guys just wanna open this thread to know what are the best online places to buy kits and tools. I made my first buy from Ehobbies and I think it came out perfect. Thank u plastic lovers and keep on creating.

I guess my question explains some of my doubts. Is it similar to work in a diecast model than in a plastic model? In aspects such as Painting and detailing. Is it possible to make body modifications? With the same tools that use on plastic.

hi to all of you masters, newies, and forthcoming builders hahaha. just wanna share what I got today but as a beginner I think I should share some info so you can get an idea about me guys. Well as some of you know from my one of my first threads I recently got my first kit. which I mess up for my not having enough info on modeling and building. so i set my self to gather enough knowledge as to start putting together a kit. Besides that I'm in need of tools to do my builds. So far I got assorted sandpapers, knives, some blades, my tamiya glue, and a couple of paint cans. Sorry I made a big post just to share that today I got what is my first shipment of tools (saw blade and my tamiya paint stand) and also my second kit (Hummer H2) which I hope not to screw LOL. Keep on creating plastic lovers.

great again Dr. I'm with you. I think that parents (builders) better said US have the chance to keep this art going and going while we are here and later. Our responsibility is to expose our children to this art instead of putting them in front of a tv with a video game. That's my goal even though I still don't have children besides that as some of you know I'm in the very beginning of a magnificent model building trayectory. The reason is because I moved to the U.S 6 years ago n back in my country you don't see anything about building models. So my point is, if we immerse ourselves in this beautiful realm our children will something to learn from us and something to share with their friends. So what will be the result??? If you teach one person n that person teaches two an those two to four equals EXPANSION and a longer life of this fantastic world of building and creation. Hope u didn't fall asleep.

Stuck Again-How Do I Wire an Engine?
Hedgehog posted a topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Hello to all the scale model car lovers... You guys really (no brown-nosing) are such a great help and source of info. Please guys keep it going. Now to the point of this post, I've seen a lot of incredible amazing creations here. From a paint job to a body and engine detailing which is my down point. I'm stuck with my engine detailing, I've seen you guys talking about connecting parts that I don't even know which they are since all I know of a car is that it has an engine and a fuel tank LOL. So my situation is how do I wire my engines in the right way as I've seen in this forum? I don't think all of the awsome engine detailings have been made by guys who know exactly all of the engine parts. So guys bring all your help and comments. Thank u and keep on building. C u:) -
thank u for the advice

Hi to all the geek squad of building and detailing. A simple question. Does it come up right priming a car with tamiya and then doing the paint and lacquer (any final touch) with HOK?????? Thank u everyone

Going through the postings and everything wonder why companies don't come up with kits based on recent (2005-2011) cars very often.

Thanks Cadillac. You gave those tips. Now that I've got those material. I think I forgot something important. What material do you recommend to use to build the box of? Which one to cover the inner walls and do I need any other material (fan)??? Thank u for the time taken. -
Do you use a Hot Box to dry paint?
Hedgehog replied to rel14's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thank u Cadillac. My first question, what kind of lightbulb should I use and how many for a medium box. Second one, what kind of glass is the one used so the heat doesn't goes straight to the painted parts?. Third and maybe not last LOL, how long I should leave my painted parts in the paint booth. One more just popped up hahaha, sorry guys, does the paint booth have an opening to let the gases out while it's on?? Hope I didnt put u to sleep. -
Thank u all of you for taking the time to always reply to all of my questions.
