  1. Just got the coupe done, heres some pics.
  2. Well I got most of the coupe done then noticed a slight over sight on the back of the body. I wouldn't have made the 1st but seeings how the deadline has been moved to the 2nd it will give me 24 more hours of panic time so I just might pull it off now. We'll see.
  3. Cool Cuda!
  4. Awesome job on it, love the color!
  5. Nice work everyone! Both of my car's are going along smoothly. Got the frame mostly done of the Super Bee and started painting it. A little teaser to the color is below. I'm also making progress on the 41' as well I'm adding bucket seats to the rear and during fitting I also thought I make a large reseve oil pan, thought it might be good for the big blown Hemi running across country. It also fits againest the frame better. I also got some color on it too, straight black but it's got some really nice gold flakes. It's not noticable from a distance but as you get closer to it they just twinkle in the sun light. Anyway that's all for now folks, keep up the great work everyone!
  6. Hi everyone, I'm not out or anything just been busy doing other things. I thought I'd get a little update on my 41' Coupe. I wasn't really happy with it's frame so I found a junkyard special Willy's on ebay and will see about using it. I'm also adding bucket seats to it. If possibile I would also like to add another entry to my list. It's a 70 Super Bee pro street from amt. The only thing that's been done is the body was sprayed flat back. If it's okay with everyone I'd like to get it entered as my second entrie. 41 Coupe 70 Super Bee
  7. Here's my entry, it's a 41 Plymouth and it's getting a blown Hemi. I'm still working on colors and other details.
  8. Unlimited for me to, I'd like to see what everyone could come up with.
  9. Here's my entry a 55' Corvette done up factory stock.
  10. Thanks Luna, your vette is a true work of art, it's one of if not the best custom cars I've ever seen in my 21 years of living. If you guys are doing one next uear I'll be in it for sure, like last years (which was my first) this year was a total blast and I look foward to doing another so count me in. Slant, thank you for running it this year and it is a shame you couldn't finish, being a major mopar fan myself. I hope that when you get it finished you'll post it and show it in all it's glory. I look foward to seeing who wins this year, best of luck to everyone.
  11. Very nice car, the engine bay is amazing.
  12. That's one wild ride man, excellent work.
  13. Very nice, it turned out great, good luck.
  14. Here is a 1955 Corvette built for the Cannonball run contest. It's an AMT I built it as close to original as I could with it being a where were you in 62 theme I thought it'd be nice to do nice stock car, something that would have been normal for the time. So it wouldn't raise to much attention during the trip across country, that's the idea anyway. The color I choose is Nassau Blue it's Testers Model Master brand. It was the closest I could get to the factory Pennant Blue color. Other than having a ton of issues with the kit (par for the course with an amt model) there is not really much else to tell, it's just a straight up build and it's in this years cannonball run. Hope you guys like it. Mores pics on the way.
  15. Wait for me too! I just got done and here it is. And there it is, it's been a real blast, I had alot of fun and may the best car win. Oh, amazing work, Mike, Fred, Niko, & Andy thoose are some awesome cars you guys built.
  16. Thanks Niko, I'll have to add that to my wish list. I've come across a few problems with my vette so making it is gonna be close. I'll update again when I'm done, just like Mike and Fred, if I make it of course.
  17. Wow W-409 what in the world did you use to get the body so shinny? That is beautiful work on polishing. It's sad to hear you wont finish in time jantrix, I was looking forward to seeing your car like last year. Make sure you post it up so we can see it when it's done. In other news it looks real promising that I'll make it with a finished car this year. Here's where it's at right now.
  18. Thanks, yes it's Testors model master brand. The windshield is the one thing I haven't checked yet, I hope it fits. Best of luck with your's too.
  19. As promised earlier here's an update, the color is Nassau Blue which is the closest I could get to Pennant Blue. I'm almost done with the engine. The frame is pretty much done, the interior is being slow. I had an issue with the floor board but my good friend sandpaper solved the problem. I got to re-spray that as soon as it gets warmer. Anyway that's what I've been up to.
  20. Hi everyone, sorry for not recent posts, life's been keeping me busy. I've got a good amount of work done to the vette. I'll have pics up later today, battery in the camera is dead and being charged right now. I'm not sure if I'll get it done on time either, but I'll try. Everyone's cars look great, I hope we all get to the start line, it looks like a killer line up. Goodluck everyone.
  21. That vette is drop dead beautiful. Mine's also slow going, when it's not 105 degrees it's to freaking humid or the wind is blowing 900 mph, you know the usual. I'll get some pics of it when/if I can ever paint it. Anyway, again Luna that vette is looking killer.
  22. I'm still here too, sorry for no recent posts. I'm in the same boat, I've got pics but haven't posted them yet either lol.
  23. Greetings everyone, Sorry my entire is a little late Slant I've been meaning to do this for the past month but life's been keeping me busy. I'm sure all of you can relate to that. My entire this year will be a 55 Corvette, which was a gift from my cousins, it fits the bill for this contest so it's what I'll be building. I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep it original. Something that wouldn't raise any eyebrows on the road. That was my theme last year and it's what I'll be doing this year. Here's the first pic's. And there it is I'll start working on it directly. I've been going through the pages trying to get myself up to speed on the builds and must say. Wow, they are all top notch, great work everyone keep it up!
