Yes they are kit wheels in Pegasus sleeves.. Thanks everyone! -
Been awhile since Ive posted up here and figured Id share this one.. Me and 1tim1 did ours as a buddy build.. I led the way and he followed behind me on his build... He did a great job for his first kit bash.. Started off with the Trumpeter kit... Shaved the antenna off, smoothed firewall and inner fenders and opened up the vents in the hood... Paint is PPG Ford dark Shadow gray with PPG shopline clear..Black wah and BMF tie up the outside.. Started next on the chassis with front suspension from the 38 Ford Lindburg kit.. In back,I used the back half from a 41 Willys prostreet kit..I used coil overs from Futurattractions in the back.. Found a fuel cell in parts box for it. Zman wheels and DM brakes add final touches For the motor I used the 2013 Boss Coyote motor..I added a billet oil cap and braided PCV lines.I used braided rad hose from Pro Tech and Detail master fittings..I scratch built the intake tube and filter from parts box.. I made my own headers and used the collectors from Sweet scale Detail.. I also made the exhaust and used mufflers from VCG resins.. Interior was mostly stock except for detail painting,BMF and flocking.. Here it is hope you all enjoy

Thanks everyone! On the paint all I did was primer and then a white base...Shot the PPG color over it and finished it with the 2 part clear from PPG also..Then just wet sanded and polished
-
Thanks everyone!!!!!!Im deff happy with it! As far as the headers/side pipes, those are scratch built..I used solder for the headers and aluminum tubing for the pipe...Took me a few tries before I finally got the pipes the way I wanted them

Thanks! I dont have any pics of the suspension... I used some Nascar springs and cut everything off the front except for the control arms & spindles.. The rear suspension pretty much set in place.. I normally use the whole front suspension from a Nascar kit but didnt want to on this one Thanks! I start off with red Krylon primer then choice of satin/flat color from Krylon..I sand thru until I get the look Iam wanting..Then I take a make up sponge and dab (almost dry brushing) the spots I sanded thru with burnt sienna and burnt umber (light to dark color)... For decals,I lightly sand then (before dipping in water) until I achieve the faded look (dont go to much cause some decals will fall apart in the water) After decals are done,I use the burnt umber and dab over the decal to dirty it up a lil bit more.. Once I do the bmf and everything is done,I use matte clear from Duplicolor to seal it all Decals was from the kit
