  4. Thanks, I have thought about giving it to him, its a tough choice because it looks nice with my other replicas...Him and my grandma are in Florida currently visiting my aunt and cousins so i got a few weeks to decide i guess. & Because capital letters are cool, the story was a copy and slightly edited version of the "on the workbench" topic, I did that to differentiate the story from the rest of what i was saying.
  5. Thanks again guys! Heres some more eye candy for y'all it got to meet the real deal today. It does need to come out of the ground and one day meet my 75 that i acquired a couple weeks back.
  6. Thanks i usuallu try to build an intersting topic well interesting to me. Grandpa is finally retired so hes hoping we can catch up on the truck andd some fishing.
  7. I hate the foxes but your build makes me want to grab this kit
  8. Thanks guys! My only complaint about it is my own fault i used automotive sandpaper when cleaning off the dent trim and it shows itself in the one picture pretty bad... Found out it can haul candy one of my friends stopped by last night to entertain my brother while i sawed logs....I wake up and the "Easter Brian" had came guess his explorer will be next replica i build. Quite honestly i am surprised he didn't break any of my models i usually hide them when he is over... He is also the one friend with worse hand writing than me. He is a member of the mud ducks lol Muddy trucks with ducks on the antennas
  9. Thanks again, debating on giving this to my grandpa to sit next to the gto i built him or leaving it mine to sit with replicas of peoples vehicles ive built

  13. THE STORY- BACK IN 1978 MY GREAT GRANDFATHER CUSTOM ORDERED A FORD TRUCK. NOTHING SPECIAL HE DIDN'T SEE A NEED FOR 4X4 OR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS, OR V8'S EITHER. THE TRUCK WAS ORDERED AS A F250 CUSTOM WITH 300 6 CYL A 3 SPEED MANUAL AND PRETTY MUCH NOTHING OPTIONS WISE, NOW ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I LOOKED AT THE INTERIOR SO I CANT TELL YA WHAT COLOR THAT IS. HE PUT MAILBOX LETTERS ON THE GRILL D.E.W "DONALD E WESTFALL" I CALL THE TRUCK DEWY BECAUSE OF THIS. WELL BACK IN 2012 MY GREAT GRANDPA DIED I WAS AT "THE GEAUGA COUNTY MAPLE FESTIVAL" WHICH IS MY HOMETOWNS LITTLE FESTIVAL TO CELEBRATE OUR MAPLE SYRUP. MY MOM ACCIDENTALLY CALLED ME MEANING TO GET A HOLD OF MY GRANDMA AND GRANDPA TO TELL THEM. WELL THE WILL LEFT THE TRUCK TO MY GRANDPA HIS SON IN LAW, WITH NO WAY FOR MY GRANDPA TO GET IT TO HIS HOUSE I CALLED UP MY FELLOW REDNECK CHEVY BUDDY HE CALLED HIS UNCLE WHO OWNED A POWERSTROKE, AND A WEEK LATER WE HAULED IT FROM LEVITSBURG TO HUNTSBURG AND THATS WHERE THE TRUCK SITS AND HAS SAT FOR 2 ALMOST 3 YEARS NOW. MY GREAT GRANDPA HAD PLANS TO PUT DUAL EXHAUST ON IT AND HE HAD 2 DIFFERENT KINDS OF TOW MIRRORS ON IT, MY REPLICA IS A SPIN OFF. MORE PHOTOS ON WAY.
