  6. whered you get this kit i wanna do one after my late great grandfather's f250 with the straight six.
  7. are you sure your not a robot?
  8. yeah thatd be great, especially being a ford truck guy. i want a model of a 78 ford f250 like my grandpa has he inherited it from my great grandpa who passed away last year. The dually is my best friend's uncle's truck we used it to move the truck 30 miles. the truck fired right up afterwards. The thing is pretty darn solid for an ohio truck. im mean 1 rust spot on the bed and no holes.
  9. this would be cool just to go but i build all muscle cars and trucks and im not a member of this club. i think it would be awesome to show ohio builders my international lonestar and shelby blue crew cars.
  10. your getting close to what i would say made by a factory with the latest high tech machinery that makes like 500 of a model and then they scrap the molds. Just awesome. are you keeping any of the original plastic parts? i can see this becoming the all metal of some sort cuda. except for rubber and glass/plastic window
  11. know of any 1/25 ford f600s? i want to do a ford 600 or 650 pickup soooo bad. and GREAT WORK!
  12. whats next? aluminum body parts?
  13. nice work you would get along well with my dad aka oldguy70. there is always something that can be added or fixed on a mold to make it more realistic.
  14. my bro caveman beat me to it.
  15. Any new stuff?
  16. little update coming.. sanded the goo down but the body still dont look right but its closer. Probably never will look right but it can definitely be closer. kinda hard to see the improvement since its all white.
  17. NICE WORK! i did a similar project with the same starter kit. I want to do a 74 scamp to go with it. i did do the rear like the 74s but it was a quick putty job so it dont look good. Keep yours comin. what kinda engine? mines got a 340 made from spare parts.
  18. they were pretty much the same although not sure on windshield.
  19. when you dont have a kit to work on might as well correct a sculture i got a friend who makes 1/64 clay models of cars im sure hes done one of his 71 olds 98 and maybe even his 92 buick lesabre

  21. first coat of goo
  22. ive seen one before my dad took the mpc? bronco monster truck chassis and put it under a 56 monogram belair. Thats back when his imagination worked. Now its just stock street or drag with scratch parts. He did use the amt 57 chevy's class of 57 decals on it. but his 57 is stock.
  23. Some of you may have seen this in my family car replicas topic. it was a clay sculpture for an art project. i scaled it out to 1/24 scale when i sculpted it. it took me about 7 days working 45 minutes at a time with a weekend of it sitting unattended. When finished my art teacher put it in the kiln. Boy the body went from the best looking model i had to disfigured hunk of clay. (I was mad) so i got it home and painted it white with a pearl clear. It is about 1/25 scale after the shrinking in the kiln which is god cuz i like 1/25 better. No im going to use spackling to fix all the dings and disfigured spots. hopefully it will turn out better. Here it is currently gonna start the spackling proccess today. The real cars the white one is the driver the gray one is rotten but the engine runs like new so thats our parts car.
