  1. Some of you may have seen this in my family car replicas topic. it was a clay sculpture for an art project. i scaled it out to 1/24 scale when i sculpted it. it took me about 7 days working 45 minutes at a time with a weekend of it sitting unattended. When finished my art teacher put it in the kiln. Boy the body went from the best looking model i had to disfigured hunk of clay. (I was mad) so i got it home and painted it white with a pearl clear. It is about 1/25 scale after the shrinking in the kiln which is god cuz i like 1/25 better. No im going to use spackling to fix all the dings and disfigured spots. hopefully it will turn out better. Here it is currently gonna start the spackling proccess today. The real cars the white one is the driver the gray one is rotten but the engine runs like new so thats our parts car.

  7. The story is what was the winner of this contest. i beleieve it was a 2003 hobby outlook win it was youth autos 1st place i got a hobby town 20$ gift card from them. Story talked about how the truck got to be so destroyed. after the picture my then 1 year old brother knocked it off the table and it broke, i rebuilt it and never lost hope in building models. i was like 9 or 10 in the picture. my parents were so happy that when the issue came out they bought 10 copies for family and friends.

  16. This is my Moebius lonestar i built. i printed off custom logos for it on papilio decal paper. the red logo is the 40s international logo and that logo is also on all 3 rows of wheels. no interior pictures youll have to find the on the work bench forum for those. im sure youll notice my paint mess up under the door. I had fun with this build. I didnt get the blue on my door ads right though and it didnt get air hoses cuz i didnt know where to start for them. It will live a long life with my pete and ford c series and any other big rigs i might get. More. yes that one mudflap bothers me.
