Here is the set of headers I made for it tonight. This was a tricky set to make. Thanks for looking. Corey -
Cool. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Corey

For some reason I cant get the toolbar to come up for my post options. I don't know whether it's gonna let me post these pics or not. Guess we're about to find out. All right Bill, the time has come buddy! Got my Webers installed, and detail painted today. Also made the air trumpets and got them installed, and the moon tank installed to the radiator housing. -

Thanks Pat. They were kind of an after thought. But alot of the ideas I've incorporated into this build have come along as it progressed. Just kind of wingin' it since I really don't know much about building these old rods, so there hasn't been a whole lot of planning involved. But......I do have a couple more tricks up my sleeve for this one. Corey -

Here are some mock up pics with the suspension actually under the truck for a more realistic example of the ride height. Painted the wheels today also. -

Lookin good so far Davin. Keep up the good work. Corey -
Great job on a super nice Challenger Felipe! Very clean, and well detailed. You wouldn't happen to be related to Alan Goes would you? He is an awesome Brazillian fighter, as I'm sure you're very aware of. Anyways, keep up the great work man. Corey

$425,000,000! What would you do?
dimebolt replied to Terry Sumner's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
First off, I'd take care of any finances that myself or my family could ever need. I'd give out close to 50 million to my family. A cool mil each. Then I would buy, and or build all my toys. Open a few hobby shops, and donate to a worthy cause. Invest, and last but not least have fun, and enjoy life to the fullest. -
This year has been rewarding as far as building models, and contests go. I got 2 of my 3 total contest wins this year, and it has been very motivating for me. And like Bill said, I got to get out and make some new friends, and fellow model builders. Looking forward to next year. Corey

I'm tellin you guys, try this. It is the reason I'm still posting here. I was getting so flustered every time I would post pics and or have something to say, and it would just go on forever. I was about to quit trying to post, until I figured this out. Corey

Project: "Inferno" 49 Merc - *Update p17* 3/13/15

Another possibility is if you have a multi speed dremel, or any kind of rotary tool, try chucking up a length of plastic sprue (parts tree) and milling it down to the desired thickness. Use the lowest speed possible, and take your time. It will work. Corey
