G' Day from 'Down-under'!

I've been building since I was a kid, lot's of glue bombs back then, I have to thank my mum for buying my first ever kit which was the old Revell ' Dr Krooks Patend Pending' C-cab....

A 20 year Military career, girls and real cars distracted any plans to build models.

With my new career after military service, I found I had more time on my hands to start building again, I joined this forum along with a couple of Aussie forums and I've been building ever since.

I average around 10 builds per year, but this year has been a quiet one for me with only 2 CB on the bench.

I have a varied taste in kit subjects and was lucky enough to purchase some very old kits last year adding to my modest collection of over 100 kits.

I do a lot of research before starting a kit and take my time, I don't use an airbrush, just spray cans.

For me this hobby is therapy, helps me to relax and have fun, I've received a few awards for some of my kits so I must be doing something right!

PS: UPDATE, I don't have anytime for building kits now because of my work as a truck driver. One day Ill get back into it.....cheers Ray
