Thought I may as well show you guys an update with my entry! Because it's an Aussie themed build, I sourced information from my local Indigenous friends on how to maximise the Australian look.... So here's my camo / indigenous art inspired WRC Corolla I'm probably 50% completed, just doing some detail work on the interior, dash has been flipped and I might add some more Art to the body and finish off with a dull-coat....

Making some progress, the instructions are quite poor for this kit, so it helps to have some knowledge Funny how you have to chop and refit the chassis, but it's taking shape and I'm doing some test fitting at the moment, the 'Auslowe' fuel tanks are over 20 years old, so I've been cleaning them up. The Cummins diesel is ready for primer and first coat of Beige paint.....the Turbo's were chrome plated so I've de-chromed them

Nice one Terry, have to agree with the wheels, they certainly make or break the build I'm thinking with mine to 'black-wash' or de-chrome and repaint silver just to get the 'look' right

Here's my colour choice, subject to change....possibly !! Mr Colour Metallic Red and Testors Sterling Silver... Cab, hood, sleeper and chassis all in Red and the silver will be used to break things up by means of stripes etc

No problems with that Brayden, you just need to show a picture before the start showing your intentions (Datto ute and 4X4 donor chassis or whatever your plan is) Yeah thought about the trusty drinking straw, but I have something else in mind.....

Here we go: Step one, go through the parts not required......! Step two and first part of the assembly......cut up the chassis!!!!
