My Bad... back later with pics, doh! AMT kit with donor engine, front wheels from Revell 2010 Shelby. Tires from Tamiya Silk Cut Jag. First time to mess with the body so let's see how it goes. Found DSE Aluma-Frame on the web and it looked cool so I decided to try and make one. I think it will look better once painted and under the car Later... Hog

This one was fun! Ive had it for over a year. The engine and most of the suspension is all aluminumed out. The heads are flat black, there are red and blue fittings accents all over. The engine was my favorite part. This kit has a beautiful engine! The body was a quicky, I used krylon blue turned out decent. Sports car club of america sticker under the hood that you cant see cause of my useless camera. The drive shaft is not in there correctly but I dont wanna go back and fix it. Once again sorry for the poor photos. Enjoi!

Hi all. This is the first model I have completed in probably 6 years. Until now I just have not had a dedicated place to work on my kits. I'm very happy with the way it turned out, I just wanted to finish it and get it on the shelf. Color is Tamiya Mica Blue, hood is from rattle can, rest of body was airbrushed. This won't be my only Cobra by any means, I have ideas for a few more. Hope everyone likes it. Sean

I built my 427 Cobra back in 2001. I built a "street" Cobra S/C 428 FE for it with 400 rwhp, solid flat tappet cam, worked over iron heads. I now built a all new casting, Genesis 427 side oiler, punched out to 527 cubes, large solid roller cam, custom aluminum heads etc,.... haven't chassis dynoed it yet, but should be between 600-650 rwhp & TQ. We raced 360/410 winged dirt sprint cars for 12 years then retired, so I have several 1:18 scale 427 Cobra's, one being a Franklin Mint, all aluminum body and many sprints. I just bought my first 1:64 18 wheeler. My brother-in-law is a trucker, so I'm wanting to use it for a diorama I'm planning on building for him. Here's a photo link for my Cobra. - http://s509.photobucket.com/albums/s331/427HISS/My%201966%20Ford%20427%20Shelby%20Cobra%20Replica/ Story of my Cobra, photo's & other toys- http://www.motortopia.com/427HISS Some, of my diecasts so far- http://s509.photobucket.com/albums/s331/427HISS/Diecasts/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ32 Thank you, Kevin

I got a Die Cast 1/24 scale M2 machines 66 gt350 doe my birthday. I seem to have a bit of OCD when it comes to models. One of the front wheels wasn't straight and I took it apart to try and figure out why. I never did figure out why the wheel wasn't sraight cuz as I was takin it apart the engine came out and the headers crumbled to pieces.. I also have a amt 68 shelby gt500 kit that has a damaged body and a 428Fe in it. The question is should I or could I put the 428 in he die cast 66 or what?

I gotta AMT 68 gt500 and the body has been cut below the driver door from the wheel well to the middle of the door. I haven't the slightest clue how to fix it and do it right. I'd much rather trade the whole kit to a pro. 23.bmp
