  1. Hello everyone, I apologize for my 4 1/2 yr absence but there has been an awful lot that has transpired in my life in this period of time. I have lost both my parents within 18 months of each other spent the last year getting their estate in order and settled, been through another buyout of the health system I work for with the last 6 months having my brain reconditioned for the new position I now have, have had another grandson who is now 18 months and several home projects that my wife of 44 yrs cracked the whip to get done ( happy wife, happy life ) LOL. I did manage to squeeze a few builds
  2. Hello, this is a monogram 55 Chevy. Painted a Chevy truck color with more blue toner. Automotive solvent base with a urethane clear. The white is a light pearl. Took a big block from a revell el Camino kit and the wheels and tires are from a revell 32 kit. A very great kit. My first monogram kit. Hope you like

  5. I want to build a 2 door post 1955 Chevy old school late 1960's gasser and need some advice. I bought the AMT 2 door post kit and for the body. It looks pretty good. I was slightly disappointed by the front large under bumper pan. I plan to leave the front bumper off and the lip on the pan is, in my option, way to thick and deep. I figure I can message it. The frame/pan will not work however because it has a muffler and exhaust molded in. I bought a Monogram 1955 hard top street machine hoping that frame would work, but it too had mufflers and exhaust molded in. That is that back gro
