I hope this is cool with the Moderators! It shouldn't be a problem, since the publication it's from is the long, long defunct Car Model Magazine. For those of you interested in building Revell's Hawaiian FC, these resources should help you, tremendously. I used to have it available through a website, but, since it's no longer online, I thought I'd share it, here. Hope some of you can use it! Obviously, some of this stuff applies to dragsters and altereds, as well. There is obviously the color scan, but, also beneath that is the PDF file of Jim Keeler's entire article. SnakePit.pdf

I've been around here for awhile. There are multitudes of GREAT builds on here! But the one thing that bothers me is that there are builds here that are wonderfully built, but the chrome grilles are not detailed with a black wash! It makes a great build look unfinished! Just my opinion, and I had to air it!! I have seen enough to bother me. Maybe it's just me! Dennis

I am wondering what others are using to letter their race cars, (fine tip markers, paint brushes, etc.) I am building a couple of 1960's short track cars, and really want to paint the numbers and sponsors on it like the real cars were (before vinyl) Any suggestions?

Just recently got big into modeling again, but this time more than ever. Always built models by the box, and never have done any scratch building or aftermarket detailing before this model. Thought I'd document the progress and look for advice along the way. Anyway, model is a 1998 Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo, started 12/21/12. What will be used of the chassis and roll cage. Starting to build the roll cage: Thanks for looking. And please post feedback! I know I have a lot to learn from you guys.
