fseva Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I just decanted a TS-38 Gunmetal and got LESS than 2oz of paint! The cans are supposed to contain 100ml (3.38oz). Did I get a bad can?
martinfan5 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 (edited) 2oz paint 1.38oz propellent Edited March 18, 2015 by martinfan5
High octane Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I would take it back where you bought it for a refund.
fseva Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 2oz paint 1.38oz propellent Oh, is that the way it works?
Art Anderson Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Oh, is that the way it works? I suspect yes--given that the propellant in aerosol cans is in liquid form. On the other hand, 2 fluid ounces of paint is enough to do several car bodies if you are using an airbrush (from my experience of some 50 yrs of airbrushing model car bodies. Art

Art Remember, I said "less than 2oz"... as in at least 1/4oz! Oh well, it's still a deal compared to Testors Metalizers, which you'd have to buy 4 of to get 2oz. Testors should offer a 2oz bottle of their best lacquers, like they did for their Aztek acrylic line! Edited March 18, 2015 by fseva
southpier Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 my life changed the day i realized a 2" x 4" was, well, not.
