modeltruckmafia Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Here is something I recently sort of finished. The is the AMT Tri Axle Gravel Dump. I cut it down to a dual axle added read wood to replace the plastic wood on the top. The tarp is made out of a coat hanger and a table cloth from the dollar store. There are 5 sets of HO scale graffiti decals running down both sides of the trailer. The weathering was done with Mig powders rust and industrial city dirt and sand weathering chalk. The fill is a combo of Rail Road grass dirt and other junk i had. For you Dallas Cowboy's fans. the hand you see it Tony romos. I had a 24 scale figure of his and the hard was right so he lost it. wayne swayze Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Interesting piece. Believeable weathering and graffiti. Tony's hand is good comic relief, and I like how the tire treads have been sanded.
Tesla Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Wow! Very realistic..."parked and forgotten" look is excellent!
Mopar - D Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Very nice weathering and modification to your trailer. Are you going to put this in a diorama or do you have a ( old looking) rig to pull it.
Superpeterbilt Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Great job. It certainly looks authentic. The hand kinda freaked me out at first.
RubiconGuy11 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 That is way too cool, great detail. I like how it looks "filled".
gatorincebu Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Adam, Dayum good looking trailer model. I really like your use of the model railroad graphics! Be Well Gator
kilrathy10 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 That is cool....I haven't seen this one.....Everything looks awesome....Right down to where Tony Romo is buried....As a Houston Texans fan, we tend to fancy that idea.... Nothing personal, of course.....It's been a long rivalry going back to my childhood.....Houston and Dallas fans just don't seem to get along, these days.....Bac to the build, though.....Love the weathering and graffiti and such......The tarp is beautiful....Great idea using that table cloth for it.....Excellent job.....
modeltruckmafia Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 Thanks everyone for the kind words. Was alot of fun.
