Interior's almost certainly different.

Check the Modelhaus website, see what they have listed for '69 Road Runner (repros of JoHan parts), and buy all that.

OR you could haunt eBay for a JoHan '69 RR. JoHan is of course TU so all their stuff is rising in price, but the kit's not THAT rare, and the body is better shaped than AMT's. A restorable glue bomb should also be quite affordable.

A 69 Road Runner grill to fit the AMT 69 GTX kit can be bought from Harts Parts, I "think" he has a bench seat interior for it to, but it may be for the 68 Road Runner kit. Again, I "think" the fancy GTX interior was an upgrade option for the RR and "may" be correct. The lower body trim molding needs to be removed, and the deck lid changed.

Seats in the gtx kit were avail on a roadrunner. ..the door panels with the woodgrain were not.

Remove the side trim and get a roadrunner grille. And your good...sorta

But like said....the johan body is far superior to the amt kit.

GTX was not an option for the Road Runner in '69. It was considered a seperate model. It was basically a fancy Road Runner. But it was not a Road Runner with a GTX option package. Not until 1972 at least.
