highway Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 The first three months of this year have been a total disaster, and I ended March leaving that behind. The year started with the flu and bronchitis and two weeks later my back threw a major fit related to the compression fracture to my L1 vertebrae in Dec 2013 and was out a total of a month of work. On top of all that and the related catch up on bills, I found out something that ended my relationship of almost two years. I'm not going into more detail than that, but I moved out March 29 and am now staying in my truck until I find a new place and everything else is in storage. Well, almost everything, my big Ford custom project is safely packed in tons of bubble wrap in boxes under the bunk LOL! I'm hoping with my new start and newly found peace and quiet, once I get a new place and get it set up, I can spend my time off getting the custom finished.
Petetrucker07 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Here's to fresh start man. It'll all work out. Hey, you can turn that little table space behind the driver seat into a work bench. It's small yeah, but you can do interiors and motors.

This is one rare occasion that I'm actually waiting for a load, I'm normally buzy from the time I get up until bed time.
Petetrucker07 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I hear ya. I look forward to my days but it's usually spent running around town. I get my bench time in, in the morning till the wife's ready to go and in the evening after dinner till I get tired.
Zandmann Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Going through similar issues here. A new start, that's always a good thing. As my dad used to say: It's not how much beating you can stand but it's all about how many hits you take and still get back up and stand proud. You'll get the idea... Anyways: Do what you gotta do and remember, hobbies and friends are the things that keep us sane. Sort of -Janne-

Ace-Garageguy Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Sounds like a rough few months. I can identify. It also sounds like you have a good attitude for moving forward. Stay positive, and good luck.
