  1. This happens in Finland too. Music stores (instruments), motorcycle accessories etc. Internet - that's the deal. You can go to the local and see if the item fits your bill and then order it online, saving a couple of bucks (or more). Internet stores have warehouses, they don't really need high cost staff that much, they can have things in stock more than the local stores. So, all in all: Support your local businesses even if they cost a bit more. That way you can visit The Local merchant, have a good laugh once and a while and encourage employment. Small deeds will become big. If you don't do this, there might not be that local for too long... Just my two cents to the discussion.
  2. Well, be different - and I mean totally different! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_96

  5. Congratulations! There's a moment you'll never forget. It's priceless to see your own flesh and blood growing up, learning things and life itself. Something that cannot be imagined. -Janne-
  6. I've seen my share of those, Finnish army uses/used them. And I got to say that you've nailed it. Excellent weathering and superb build all in all.
  7. Ok... So, how often do you drive these or at least start 'em up? I'm outta words. Truly. Magnificent pieces of true craftsmanship, humble thanks for sharing. -Janne-
  8. Yeah, seen those sideloaders in Finland too. Quite a lot to be exact.
  9. Welcome Finland, the land of them hillbillies: Steve'n'Seagulls - Seek and destroy https://youtu.be/F5m_8HuEBI4

  11. Hi guys, this one's from a Finnish forum. Some of you might know it allready but this is pretty awesome, I'd say. http://www.fcma.fi/FCMABBS/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9694 Scratch, that's the name of the game. And he plays it well. BR, Janne
  12. Going through similar issues here. A new start, that's always a good thing. As my dad used to say: It's not how much beating you can stand but it's all about how many hits you take and still get back up and stand proud. You'll get the idea... Anyways: Do what you gotta do and remember, hobbies and friends are the things that keep us sane. Sort of -Janne-
  13. I knew it something from Czechoslovakia! Skoda did reveal that it was European but... Well, good looking though.
  14. Chrome, all the way. IE is like having blind mice trying to solve 10.000pcs puzzle while being high and drunk - will never work.
  15. Nordic countries like Norway, Sweden and Finland of course, have a long, dark winter so we have more than efficient amount of time to think of something totally bonkers. And we usually do it. Dangerous, that seems to be in our genes.
  16. Looks familiar but... Almost went for the first assumption. This one's hard!
  17. Ah, potkukelkka as we Finns call it. Went through the translator and it gave me "kick sledge". Mighty fun if you attach a chainsaw engine to it, nevermind anything bigger.
  18. How did I miss this? In Finland we have a saying "voi morjes". Roughly translated it spells Awesome with a capital A. Btw. mr. Tolonen: Are your roots here in the nordics?
