bandit.93 Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 (edited) This is my 55' Belair ZR-1. This has had quite a bit of custom work done to it with most of the parts coming from the AMT 95 corvette ZR1 kit.I used the LT-5 engine and six-speed transmission, independent rear suspension, front suspension, seats, center console, exhaust, and steering wheel from it and the radiator is from a nascar kit. the wheels are from pegasus wheels and the brakes are from a Ferrari Superamerica.the paint and clear are duplicolor products. I really didnt do any big body mods, just shaved door handles and centerline on the hood sanded down. I have to say that this is my favorite model of my collection. Here are some pictures Edited February 26, 2008 by bandit.93
Guest roadkill2525 Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Excellent looking build. Hey Raul, I think you may have some competition.
geetee66 Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Well done ! I don't have the nerve to attempt re-working the suspension or exhaust myself, so hats-off to ya! Nice colour choice, too.
58 Impala Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Nice job, looks like that took quite a bit of work.

bandit.93 Posted February 26, 2008 Author Posted February 26, 2008 Here are some new pictures. I really didnt like the previous pictures and they pointed out a few things that needed to be fixed, especially the "rust" on the exhaust. So those problems are now fixed. plus I have some pics of the interior and wheels. Enjoy
