foxbat426 Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Wondering if anyone has stumbled across some real good BMF replacements that are cheap and easily accessable?? right now i'm using the dollar store tin foil and while it works well, i wish there was something thinner and easier to work with.
JTRACING Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 I use the cheap HVAC tape from the dollar tree and it works sweet, and it doesn't get those micro tears that BMF seems develop
John Pol Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Isn`t the hvac tape thicker and harder to work with and to cut?
foxbat426 Posted April 5, 2015 Author Posted April 5, 2015 Hmmm interesting. HVAC tape would seem pretty thick to me though. can you post a pic of a model you did with it??

foxbat426 Posted April 5, 2015 Author Posted April 5, 2015 hi cato, basically thats what i;m doing now. would like something a bit thinner than the dollar store alumi foil.
JTRACING Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 (edited) Hmmm interesting. HVAC tape would seem pretty thick to me though. can you post a pic of a model you did with it?? its almost the same thickness, and for the price of 1.99 you get more than 2 sheets of equivalent "BMF" \ Edited April 6, 2015 by JTRACING
