Erik548 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 (edited) ive been on here for a few months now, not posting just looking at posts but I guess its time introduce myself. Hi I'm Erik I've only been building model cars for about two years. But I've been into model railroading my whole life (modeling the akron branch of the penn central between hudson and akron ohio) I got into cars as a kind of stress free modeling subject so typically I dont super detail any of my builds. I just use them as a break when I get cross eyed from modeling n scale (1:160). I pretty much only build vintage dragsters (50s-70s) and a few rat rods or dirt cars mixed in. I'm not far from Hudson and would love to see some of your layout. Or are you talking about Hudson, PA? I would love to have a train layout but I know it would be just too much for me .. I have enough trouble finishing my car builds! I dabble, thou .. I'm just finishing a boxcar repaint for a friend decaled like an advertisement from our builds in a game called Landmark. Sorry, Eric, I was thinking Hudson, NY .. guess the Pennsy didn't run through there but the New York Central did and we did have a merger ... eheh. Trains still stop at Hudson and is where I go when taking one to NYC.
