oldscool Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 Looks great. I'm planning on doing two; one as a street rod, and one stock as it would have appeared in the 30's. I like your use of the lighter green for the windshield frame, I'm considering flat black for mine. Thanks Kevin. The windshield frame is chrome but looks green in the pic for some reason. Maybe the reflection of my lawn.
oldscool Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 You're making much faster progress than I am. It's a great looking throwback build! Thanks Dave. I'm digging yours too.
oldscool Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 Thanks Carl. It sure is bringing back some memories.
oldscool Posted April 25, 2015 Author Posted April 25, 2015 All done except for tail lights. I don't like the kit lights and never put any on my original build at all but I will find something to go on this one. Had to wait for the rain to stop to get pics. Last ones before she goes to Under Glass. The fenders turned out to be one of the biggest pains of the whole build. Had to strip and repaint one of them and they were very tedious to position right. This angle just begs for QC rear axle doesn't it? This one highlights the rough edges on the headlight buckets and my crooked lens on the passenger side. The lenses are held in with Future so I may be able to remove and reposition it. Thanks for following and see you in Under Glass.
