Drunken Goat Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) I started my new build a few days ago. I am building a mack superliner using mostly aimt parts. I started filling and sanding the 275 inch frame. Here is a real rough mock up of what it should look like when done. It will also have a winch and winch tower. Any advise or tips is appreciated. gatorincebu Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Looks like a cool project. I want to see what you are going to do on the rear drive suspension. Be Well Gator
kilrathy10 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Very ambitious project, Buddy.....Gonna be cool to see this come together....
Superpeterbilt Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Looking good man. What type of powerplant and driveline are you going with? I like a rough and rugged Superliner.
Mopar - D Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Gary nice build you have selected. This a rare Mack model built looking forward to see your build.
Drunken Goat Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 Sorry for not responding sooner. The drivetrain is basically only going to be seen from the bottom. The hood won't open so as far as engine a trans. I am not sure it is whatever aitm sent. The rear suspension will be 80,000lbs hard bar set up. As far as progress. I started cleaning the rims so you will be able to see threw them. All the tires are cleaned and ready to get primed. I have a little more work on the chassis and then I will be priming that as well.
gatorincebu Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Sounds like my kind of work truck! be Well Gator
