It's basically the "new" (for the 90s) tool '67 Impala kit with some very period "Street Machine" parts. Billet wheels, billet steering wheel, Corvette style intake, "custom" hood.

That's great! I was thinking it could be based on the older toolings, and I've found the 90s toolings to be very acceptable even by today's standards! Thanks!

I'd swap the wheels for something else and use the kit wheels for a Mazda rotary powered model.

Yeah, I saw those wheels too, and had already decided they had to go. However, I'm not "into" imports. So, they would go into my extras stash... unless you want them?!

Its an excellent kit! In your question about HOK paint, the Pink body I posted is from this kit. I have built 5 of them so far and have 10 more on the shelf, so that says allot about it. It builds up really nice, no fitment issues with any that I have done. Only real issue ive ever had is " ghosting" from molding "swirls" in the plastic on the passengers side and roof, show through when using hotter paint ( like automotive laquer, and HOK that I have thinned myself) just make sure you primer it first and you should be good.

Thanks Mike! Now all I have to do is find one I can afford!
