3100 chevy Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 My first gas station and service station. Everything is scratch built except for the jack and the cars In it. There will be more things in it that you can see here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=101542 It's missing a wall because I cut it 1 cm too large:( The roof is covered with clamps because it got warped somehow.

misterNNL Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Your station seems to be right on the money for proportions and very accurately done.Did you have a real station to measure and draw plans from?Really nice work so for.The only bad thing about building scale gas stations is they take up so darn much room when they are finished.

Room is not a problem because I have a place to put it and can store some cars in it.

DRIPTROIT 71 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I really like this project. I worked at a service station similar to this for many, many years. I think your capturing the look well so far. The finishing touch would a couple of old men out front on a bench drinking bottled Cokes, or maybe RC Cola (we always had hang-arounds).... Great work!
3100 chevy Posted June 6, 2015 Author Posted June 6, 2015 Only let me post 2 pictures so here's more Bricks were carved out of 1$ store foam board and they will get a wash Die cast Let there be lights!
