misterNNL Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 As always there is a wealth of info available to any builder on this forum just for the asking.
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) I don't know if you saw this period shot during your googling, but it clearly shows a hard spare-tire cover, when the car was new. A restored car with a similar cover... I don't know if it was a Ford option, an aftermarket part, or a trim-level inclusion (some '34 Deluxe models did apparently come with hard spare tire covers). Art Anderson Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 I think this dealer brochure image of the '32 Ford Deluxe (3-window) Coupe indicates that any spare tire cover was an option, not standard equipment for 1932--note the bare spare tire out back! Art
Roadrunner Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 OK, well I'm working on another Vicky now (screwed up the first one pretty bad), and I think I'll be using the wheel cover "as is", so thanks a ton for all the input, I appreciate it immensely.
