Dyno Davo Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 I know this is a die-cast kit but thought it might be OK to post here. Thought I'd give this a little Dyno-Davo spin and create a fictitious car from the era. Kept the Irish theme in the paint but added some candies, pearls and bit of bling flake. The decals are hand made by applying the decal to BMF fist then cutting it out and applying to the body. Added a lot of extra detail and used the Hemi engine. Enjoy
MAGIC MUFFLER Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 What a great color combination! .. nicely done Looks like possibly the Magic Muffler GMP kit. I have pulled mine apart to try and give it a more accurate look. These are actually not easy kits to pull apart.
MPi-KM Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 How did you make the Simpsons Leprechaun on the front grill?
Dyno Davo Posted May 11, 2015 Author Posted May 11, 2015 How did you make the Simpsons Leprechaun on the front grill? Hey Noel, I saved the image onto some white decal paper and when I cut it out I did it as close as possible to the shape, helped having a white background to apply it tooThanks guys, appreciate the kind comments
Tom Geiger Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Very nice work! Once you pull a diecast apart and do it your way, it is indeed a model!
Twokidsnosleep Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Another great one, you are on fire!! Hilarious decal work with the leprechaun
