robiwon Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I put the Hasegawa Ferrari 348ts in the photo booth today for some proper "beauty" pictures.
robiwon Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 Thanks! Here's a few of the two of them together...
robiwon Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 Thanks guys, I'm against red Ferrari's, LOL Next up is a red over black Tokyo Marui 512 BB.
Dominik Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 nice built! it Shows, that ferraris look also good in other colors
christian-w Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 This is another proof, that a Ferrari doesn't have to be red! Looks good in this nice blue Did you paint the rims with alclad? They look good!
robiwon Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 Thanks guys! I used Spaz Stix on the rims for the 348ts. Painted them gloss black and then rattle canned them with the chrome spray.
christian-w Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 No way ! It looks like alclad! I have to keep this in mind. It came out very very good. Never thought, that this could have been done with chrome spray. Thank you for this info!
robiwon Posted June 3, 2015 Author Posted June 3, 2015 Thanks, the Spaz Stix is actually designed for Lexan RC car bodies. It designed to spray the chrome on the inside of the clear body first and then backed by black. Thankfully, reversing the process for our plastic model car bodies and whatnot, does result in a nice semi chrome finish.
