jerseyjunker1 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 im still not on the computer much these days but i thought i would let you in a diorama project that is in the works. when finished it will be an early 1960s train vs drunk driver accident. the pictures are just the beginning stages. when done there will be people trees train signals more vehicles track debris liquor and beer bottles and the aftermath of the crash. i used poultry grit for the ballast works pretty good. i will keep you updated on the progress as i can.
DumpyDan Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Wow nice detailing, if you would have showed that third picture first I might have questioned is this real or scale. Nice work, can't wait for more.
disabled modeler Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Very nice work...! Look realistic to me I have seen a few tangle with trains before and loose...its not always easy to make plastic look like bent and torn metal.
codie27 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Im liking where this is headed...cant wait to see more!!
MAGIC MUFFLER Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Outstanding work!!!! Looking forward to seeing more ..
cobraman Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Looks great ! Looking forward to seeing it finished.
mecklm Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Like the engine. FP9? What make was it? Looks like an Alco FA1, maybe a PA1, but definitely not an FP9
chunkypeanutbutter Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Looks like an Alco FA1, maybe a PA1, but definitely not an FP9 Oops, yeah, FA, not FP! And I just got an HO scale FA not too long ago.
jerseyjunker1 Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 Like the engine. FP9? What make was it? if i remember it was listed as an Aristo g-scale fa-1 if that sounds right.
