AzTom Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 This is a 1/18 Maisto Diecast model. As with most diecast the red interior looks too plasticity. I decided black was the answer. I did the dash, seats insert, visors, door panels and boot with a brush using the paint shown. That paint goes on very nice. The floor pan and metal seat frame was sprayed with a flat black. Thanks for looking
GrumpyGrowly Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I do agree, black is much better. It allows you to see the whole car, before my eye was drawn to the bright red interior. Good eye, great car.
AzTom Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 Thank Guys. I forgot to mention that most of the diecast cars have some soft vinyl interior parts like the seats and boots. You do need acrylic paint for them as oil paints will Never dry.
